On a computer with MAC OS:

  1. Select Apple > System Preferences.

  3. Click + in the dialog box.
  4. Select your printer from the list.
  5. Click Add, if needed.

For more information, refer to the Extended User Guide for your printer.

NOTE: Wi-Fi Direct is what its name implies: a direct wireless connection between your printer and a device. Therefore, when you are using a Wi-Fi Direct connection, you do not have Internet access. For example, if your smartphone is connected to your printer with Wi-Fi Direct, you cannot access the Internet until you change your connection. For full printer functionality, connect your printer to your wireless router (refer to the Extended User Guide for your printer for more details).
