If you connect your computer or mobile device to your printer with Wi-Fi Direct, you can:

  • Print and scan from your computer with a supported WINDOWS or MAC OS.
  • Access your Online Printer Management Tool to configure your printer. 
  • Browse memory cards (read-only) from a supported computer.

You cannot use features that require Internet access, including:

  • Configuring your printer for Google Cloud Print or KODAK Email Print Service. 
  • Upgrading your printer firmware from the computer.
  • Scanning to email. 
  • Scanning to network folders. 

To use these features, make sure your printer has an Internet connection; that is, a connection to a network with a router, such as a Wi-Fi or Ethernet network.
