Set up a Wi-Fi Direct connection when:
- You want to print or scan wirelessly but there is no router available, such as in a college dormitory or in a corporate environment with enterprise level security.
- In a hotel or print services retail location, you want to allow users to walk up to the printer, discover the printer on a wireless network, then print directly to the printer without accessing your establishment's network.
- You have a visitor in your home, and don't want the visitor to access your home network, but want to let the visitor print wirelessly to your printer. By connecting with Wi-Fi Direct, the visitor can print wirelessly to the printer from the KODAK Pic Flick App or from a laptop that has the print driver installed.
- You want to print wirelessly and do not require access to the Internet.
