1. Cancel all print jobs. For help canceling print jobs, see .
  2. Turn off the printer.
  3. Wait 5 seconds.
  4. Turn on the printer.
  5. If your printer is connected via USB cable, make sure the cable is securely connected.
  6. If your printer is connected via Wi-Fi, make sure the printer is connected to your network. See Chapter 2 of your printer Extended User Guide to connect your printer to your network.
  7. Restart the Print spooler:
    1. Select Start > Run, then type services.msc and click OK. 
    2. Scroll to and right-click Print Spooler, then select Restart
  8. Try using the printer again.

If the error continues, the file you are trying to print may be damaged. Try printing another file.
