This error occurs when there is a communication error between the software and the printer.

  1. Turn off your printer and computer.
  2. Restart the printer.
  3. Follow the printer LCD prompts to clear any error conditions.
  4. Start the computer.
  5. Run the ADVENT Printer Setup Utility again.
    1. Select Start > Programs > Advent > ADVENT Printer Setup Utility.
    2. Follow the on-screen instructions to connect your printer.
  6. Try printing again.

If the error continues:

  1. Cancel all print jobs.
    1. From your computer, select Start > Settings > Printers and Faxes (or Start > Printers and Faxes).
    2. Select your ADVENT Printer.
    3. Right-click a print job, then select Cancel.
  2. When all print jobs are canceled, restart your computer and try printing again.
