This error can occur if the printer queue is added via IP Address instead of Default (Bonjour).

To resolve the issue:

  1. Make sure your printer is turned on and connected to your Wi-Fi network.
    1. Select Menu (or Home) from the printer control panel.
    2. Select Network Settings, then press OK.
    3. Select View Network Configuration, then press OK.
    4. Check that Connection: Connected is displayed.
    5. Verify that the wireless (Wi-Fi) network status light on the control panel is illuminated a steady blue (not flashing).
  2. Remove the existing queue for your all-in-one printer.
    1. Go to Apple menu > System Preferences > Print & Fax.
    2. In the left-hand column, highlight the Kodak printer.
    3. Click the "-" minus sign underneath the printer list to delete the printer.
    4. When prompted, click Delete Printer.
  3. Make sure the print queue is added properly.
    1. Go to Apple menu > System Preferences > Print & Fax.
    2. Click the "+" plus sign. 
    3. Make sure you select the Default tab instead of the IP tab.
    4. Select your printer from the printer list.
      NOTE: The Kind is listed as Bonjour.
    5. Click Add.
  4. Resend your print job to the printer.
