To resolve the message:

  1. Make sure that your printer is connected to a wireless network:
    1. On your printer control panel, press Home.
    2. Select Network Settings, then press OK.
    3. Select View Network Configuration, then press OK.
      NOTE: Scroll down to make sure Connection: Connected is displayed, and  there is a valid IP Address (not all zeros). Also, make sure that your printer Wi-Fi indication light is lit solid blue (not flashing).
    4. If your printer is not connected to a wireless network, see your Wireless Networking Setup Guide.
  2. Try to scan to the network folder again.
