NOTE: If your printer supports auto duplexing, make sure you are using the right paper. The duplexer cannot print on borderless prints or poster layout. Refer to your printer Extended User Guide for more details.

When duplex printing, we recommend that you use heavier paper (such as KODAK Ultimate Paper) so that the ink is less likely to show through to the other side.

  1. Open the document you want to print, then select File > Print.
  2. In the Print dialog box, make sure that your printer is selected, then click Properties or Preferences.
  3. Select the Layout tab.
  4. Under "Two-sided printing", select Automatically with Duplexer (if your printer has that feature) or Manual (Instructions Provided).
  5. Under "Flip on", select Long edge or Short edge.
  6. Click Save Current Preferences (on the top right), enter a name such as "two-sided printing", then click Save.
  7. Click OK.
