To resolve the issue:

  1. Close the Irfanview or Photoshop application.
  2. Reopen the application, then try to scan again with the Paper Source set to Flatbed instead of ADF.

Use Home Center software to scan:

  1. Open Home Center software.
  2. Select Scan Documents and Pictures.
  3. Follow the on-screen instructions to complete the scan.
    NOTE: You can scan from Automatic Document Feeder or scanner glass with your all-in-one printer.
