First, try closing Home Center Software and reopening it.
If the error continues, and your printer is connected using a Wi-Fi network or an Ethernet cable:
- Verify that your printer is on. (Power button is illuminated).
- Verify that your printer is connected to your Wi-Fi or Ethernet network.
NOTE: If your connection type is Wi-Fi, the blue LED will be lit (not blinking) on the front of the printer. - Verify that your computer is connected to your Wi-Fi or Ethernet network.
- If you recently upgraded to the latest KODAK All-in-One Printer Software, restart your computer.

If the error continues, and your printer is connected with a USB cable:
- Verify that your printer is on. (Power button is illuminated).
- Verify that the USB cable is connected to your printer and computer.
- If you recently upgraded to the latest KODAK All-in-One Printer Software, restart your computer.
