When printing borderless 8 x 10 in. images, it is possible that ink may transfer from the paper path components to the backside of the print. Ink on the back of that print may transfer to the front surface of  the previous print that is already in the output tray.

To prevent this from happening do one of the following:

  • Immediately remove a print from the paper output tray before the next print exits the printer.
  • Print your 8 x 10 in. images on 8.5 x 11 in. paper, then trim the print to 8 x 10 in.
  • Print only one 8 x 10 in. image at a time.
