ACTIONTEC Routers may not support the multicast protocol, which your network must have to detect your printer. Kodak is working with Actiontec to make these routers compatible with wireless-enabled printers. Contact your router supplier for the latest information regarding multicast support, and make sure you update the firmware to the latest version available for your router.
If your printer can't communicate with your ACTIONTEC Router, the following options may help you work around the issue:
- Connect your printer to your computer using a USB cable.
- Use a router that is compatible with your all-in-one printer.
NOTE: The ACTIONTEC Router is one of a few routers that is not currently compatible with your printer. - Add a wireless access point to your network that is compatible with your printer and your ACTIONTEC Router.
- Do the procedure below to set up a Manual IP Address Connection that will enable printing and possibly enable scanning.
NOTE: If scanning is not possible, connect your printer with a USB cable to enable scanning.
