If you want to conserve file space on your camera, memory card, or computer, choose a lower Picture Size (MP, or megapixel) setting. If you want to improve picture quality (and you're less concerned about file space), choose a higher Picture Size setting.
To choose a picture size on your camera:
- Turn on the camera.
- Press the Menu button.
- Press the Up/Down arrow buttons to choose Picture Size, then press the OK button.
NOTE: On some models, you can press the Right/Left arrow buttons to choose a picture size. In that case, go to step 5. - Press the Up/Down arrow buttons to choose a picture size (higher numbers mean better quality and larger file sizes), then press the OK button.
- To return to picture-taking mode, press the Menu button or press the Shutter button halfway down.
NOTE: If your KODAK Camera has a touchscreen, the same principles apply. Tap the Menu or Settings icon, then Picture Size.
