Make sure the SSID (network name) for your router is set to SSID broadcast enabled. If SSID broadcast is disabled on the router, the network name will not broadcast for auto-discovery by the WiFi Setup Wizard or all other Wi-Fi enabled devices. For network security reasons, you may have the SSID broadcast disabled. You can type the SSID into the WiFi Setup Wizard manually as described below. You will need your security passphrase if you secured your network and the SSID (network name). You, or the person that set up your network, should have these documented.

To connect the printer to your non-broadcasting SSID:
  1. From the printer control panel menu, select: Network Settings > WiFi Setup Wizard > Unlisted Network
  2. Use the 4-way navigation button and on-screen keyboard to enter the SSID (network name).
NOTE: The SSID is case-sensitive. Switch between uppercase and lowercase characters as necessary.
  3. Navigate to Done, then press OK.
  4. If you have a secured network, enter your password:
    a. Choose the security type, then press OK.
    b. Use the 4-way navigation button and on-screen keyboard to enter your password.
Important: The password is case-sensitive. Switch between uppercase and lowercase characters as necessary.
    c. Navigate to Done, then press OK.
If you still can't connect to your wireless network, MAC (Media Access Control) Addressing may be enabled on your router's settings. You must access your router settings and add the MAC address for your all-in-one printer:
  1. From your printer control panel, scroll to Network Settings.
  2. Scroll to Print Network Settings, then press OK to print.
  3. Review the printout of your Network Settings and find the Wi-Fi Setting for the MAC address.
  4. Access your router utility configuration (may be a Web utility or a software utility installed on your computer when you set up your router).
  5. Navigate to where you add MAC addresses in the router utility.
  6. Enter the MAC address from the printout.
  7. If you are prompted to give the MAC address a name, enter a relevant name for your printer.
  8. Follow the instructions to update the router utility settings.
