To resolve:
- Power cycle the printer:
NOTE: Make sure the printer access door is closed.- Disconnect the power adapter from the printer.
- Wait 5 seconds to allow the printer to reset.
- Connect the power adapter to the printer. Turn the printer on if necessary.
- Test the scan function by making a copy, using the control panel on the all-in-one printer:
Select Home >Copy Document .If Then The error recurs when making a copy. There is a problem with the hardware. The copy completes correctly. Continue to the next step. - Try scanning again.
- If the issue persists, try:
- Use the printer control panel to initiate scanning.
- Connect the all-in-one printer to your computer using a USB cable instead of Wi-Fi.
