To resolve:

  1. Remove the ink cartridges and the printhead.
  2. Turn off the power to the printer.
  3. Disconnect the power cord from the wall oulet or power strip.
  4. Wait 30 seconds.
  5. Connect the power cord to the wall outlet.
  6. Follow the on-screen instructions to set up the printer.
  7. When prompted, insert the printhead and ink cartridges, taking care to click each one into place.
