This error may occur when copying or scanning a large number of pages (more than 10) using the Automatic Document Feeder with the collate option set to Yes.
To resolve:
- Press the Cancel button.
- Remove the original pages from the printer. If needed, open the ADF cover to remove them.
- Copy or scan again with a smaller amount of pages (less than 10 pages), or set the Collate feature to No.
If the error continues, or the printer hangs and cannot scan or copy after the error has been resolved:
- Power cycle your printer:
- Turn off your printer.
- Wait 5 seconds.
- Turn on your printer.
