To resolve this issue:
- Turn off the printer.
- Clear the printer queue:
- For computers with WINDOWS 7 or VISTA Operating Systems:
- Select Start > Devices and Printer.
- Select your printer.
- Right-click any print jobs, then select Cancel.
- Select Printer > Properties, then select the Ports tab.
- Clear the "Enable bidirectional support" check box, then click Apply.
- Click OK.
- For computers with WINDOWS XP Operating Systems:
- Select Start > Settings > Printers and Faxes.
- Select your printer.
- Right-click any print jobs, then select Cancel.
- Select Printer > Properties, then select the Ports tab.
- Clear the "Enable bidirectional support" check box, then click Apply.
- Click OK.
- Select Start > Run, type services.msc, then click OK.
- Scroll down and right-click Print Spooler, then select Restart.
- Turn on the printer.
- Try to print again.
