Make sure your printer is connected to your computer and try to scan again.
If NORTON Firewall is installed on your computer:
- Open NORTON Internet Security.
- Select the Settings tab, then click Network Settings.
- Under "Auto Protect", clear the check box for Removable Media Scan.
- Work with your firewall support team to open port 5353 and allow the necessary scan services and ports. For more information, see: .
