Make sure your printer is connected to your computer and try to scan again.

If NORTON Firewall is installed on your computer:

  1. Open NORTON Internet Security.
  2. Select the Settings tab, then click Network Settings
  3. Under "Auto Protect", clear the check box for Removable Media Scan.
  4. Work with your firewall support team to open port 5353 and allow the necessary scan services and ports. For more information, see: .
