To resolve the problem:
- Turn off and then turn on your computer and printer.
- If the problem continues:
- On your computer, select Start > Run.
- Type Services.msc, then click OK.
- Scroll down and right-click Print Spooler, then select Restart.
- Scroll down and right-click Remote Procedure Call (RPC) Locator.
- Click Properties, then select Automatic from the Service type pull-down.
- Right-click Remote Procedure Call (RPC) Locator, then select Restart.
