To resolve:

  1. Turn off the printer.
  2. Wait 5 seconds.
  3. Turn on the printer.
  4. If the printer does not power on, refer to  for troubleshooting.
  5. Make sure the printer is connected to the computer:
    1. Right-click the status monitor (printer icon in the lower right corner of your computer screen).
    2. Select Status Monitor.
    3. The status monitor should display either "Ready" or "Printer ready".
