If you accidentally restart your printer while printing, the printer will hang (freeze) at the unfinished job and you will not be able to send a new print job. You could also experience the error message "Unable to write print data: Broken pipe".

To resolve the problem:

  1. Click the printer in the dock.
  2. Highlight the existing print jobs, then click Delete.
  3. Resend the print job. The printer should resume printing.
