This issue might occur with specific image layouts that may cause the printer to recognize the picture as two images when scanning.
To resolve the issue, start the scan from the computer using a scan application, such as Home Center Software. Do not start the scan from the printer control panel.
- Place the original picture on the scanner glass or in the Automatic Document Feeder (ADF) (if applicable).
- Open Home Center Software.
- Select Scan Application.
- Follow the on-screen instructions to complete the scan.
