The BUFFALO TECHNOLOGY WCR-GN WIRELESS-N 150 Router is not compatible with your all-in-one printer. You may try the following options to work around the issue:
- Connect your printer to your computer using a USB cable:
- Select: Start > Programs > Kodak > Kodak Printer setup utility
- Follow the on-screen instructions to connect your printer using a USB cable.
- Use a different router that is compatible with your all-in-one printer.
NOTE: The BUFFALO Router is one of a few routers that is not currently compatible with your printer.
- Follow the steps below to set up a Manual IP Address Connection that will enable printing and possibly enable scanning.
NOTE: If you cannot scan after completing the following steps, connect your printer with a USB cable to scan.
Setting up a Manual IP Address Connection
Find and record your network information:
From your computer that is connected to the network that you want to connect your printer to:
- Select Start > Run.
- Type cmd, then click OK.
- Type ipconfig /all, then press Enter.
- Record:
- IP Address (Example - 192.168.1.12)
- Subnet Mask (Example - 255.255.255.0)
- Default Gateway (Example - 192.168.1.1)
- DNS Servers
Locate the Network Settings and assign the Static IP address for your printer:
- Select Menu (or Home) from the printer control panel.
- Select Network Settings, then press OK.
- Select Advanced IP Address Setup, then press OK.
- Select Manual (Static), then press OK.
- On your printer, enter the same first 3 Blocks of numbers from your Computer IP Address, then enter a number between 200 and 253 for the fourth set of numbers.
(Example: Computer IP Address = 150.221.10.119 then the Printer IP Address = 150.221.10.225)
- Press OK.
- Enter the Subnet Mask as: 255.255.255.0, then press OK.
- Enter the Gateway Address, and the DNS Address you recorded previously from your computer, then press OK. Your printer should now be connected wirelessly to your network.
Connect your printer to your computer:
From a WINDOWS Operating System:
- Select Start > Programs > Kodak > Kodak Printer Setup Utility.
- Follow the on-screen instructions to connect your printer.
From a MAC OS:
- Select Apple > System Preferences.
- Under Hardware, select Print & Fax.
- In the Print & Fax dialog box, click the + (Add button).
- Select your printer from the list, then click Add.
