- Close Home Center Software, if it is open.
- Depending on your Operating System, do the following steps:
- WINDOWS XP:
- Right-click the KODAK AiO Home Center icon, then select Properties.
- Select the Security tab.
- Select the group or user name that you are currently logged into.
- Select Allow for Full Control, then click Apply.
- Click OK.
- WINDOWS VISTA or 7:
- Right-click the KODAK AiO Home Center icon, then select Properties.
- Select the Compatibility tab.
- Under the Privilege Level heading, select Run this program as an administrator.
- Select Change settings for all users.
- Select Run this program as an administrator, then click Apply.
- Click OK.
- Click Apply, then click OK.
If the error still continues:
- Locate and right-click a picture on your computer (such as on your desktop), then select Print with KODAK AiO Home Center. Home Center will open with the selected picture.
NOTE: The file formats supported by Home Center Software are jpg, png, bmp, gif, and tif. - If the error continues with WINDOWS VISTA:
- Select Start > Control Panel > System and Maintenance, then select System.
- Select Advanced System Settings.
NOTE: You may be prompted for an administrator password. Enter the password and click OK. - Under Performance, select Settings.
- Select the Data Execution tab, then select Turn on DEP for all programs and services except those I select.
Setting Home Center as the default application will help you avoid this error in the future:
- Right-click on a picture, then select Open With > Choose Program.
- Select KODAK AiO Home Center from the Programs list.
NOTE: If KODAK AiO Home Center is not listed:- Click Browse.
- Double-click Kodak > AiO > Center > AiOHomeCenter.exe.
- Select Always use the selected program to open this kind of file.
