1. Close Home Center Software, if it is open.
  2. Depending on your Operating System, do the following steps:
    • WINDOWS XP:

      1. Right-click the KODAK AiO Home Center icon, then select Properties.
      2. Select the Security tab.
      3. Select the group or user name that you are currently logged into.
      4. Select Allow for Full Control, then click Apply.
      5. Click OK.
    • WINDOWS VISTA or 7:

      1. Right-click the KODAK AiO Home Center icon, then select Properties.
      2. Select the Compatibility tab.
      3. Under the Privilege Level heading, select Run this program as an administrator.
      4. Select Change settings for all users.
      5. Select Run this program as an administrator, then click Apply.
      6. Click OK.
      7. Click Apply, then click OK. 

If the error still continues:

  1. Locate and right-click a picture on your computer (such as on your desktop), then select Print with KODAK AiO Home Center. Home Center will open with the selected picture.
    NOTE: The file formats supported by Home Center Software are jpg, png, bmp, gif, and tif.
  2. If the error continues with WINDOWS VISTA:
    1. Select Start > Control Panel > System and Maintenance, then select System.
    2. Select Advanced System Settings.
      NOTE: You may be prompted for an administrator password. Enter the password and click
      OK.
    3. Under Performance, select Settings.
    4. Select the Data Execution tab, then select Turn on DEP for all programs and services except those I select.

Setting Home Center as the default application will help you avoid this error in the future:

  1. Right-click on a picture, then select Open With > Choose Program.
  2. Select KODAK AiO Home Center from the Programs list.
    NOTE: If KODAK AiO Home Center is not listed:
    1. Click Browse.
    2. Double-click Kodak > AiO > Center > AiOHomeCenter.exe.
  3. Select Always use the selected program to open this kind of file.
