If your mobile phone can create a Wi-Fi hotspot with an SSID, your all-in-one printer will be able to join the network.
- Make sure the Wi-Fi hotspot is in Infrastructure mode.
NOTE: Your all-in-one printer does not support ad-hoc Wi-Fi connections. - If you have problems connecting to the network, try the following:
- Bring the phone closer to the printer, as the phone's Wi-Fi range could be short.
- Disable Wi-Fi security on the phone. Set the Security to "Open".
- Verify the Wi-Fi hotspot is working properly by connecting another device to it, such as your computer.
