NOTE: This feature is not available for all printer models. Refer to your Extended User Guide to see if your printer has this feature.

  1. Make sure your printer is connected to a wireless network.
    1. For help connecting to a wireless network, see Chapter 2 of the Extended User Guide for your printer model. 
  2. Create a share folder on your computer.
    NOTE: For help with creating a share folder, contact the technical support for your operating system.
  3. Create a profile for the Scan To Network Folder:
    1. Open the Online Printer Management Tool. See  for more information.
    2. Select the Settings tab, then click Scan to Network Folder > Network Folder Profile.
    3. Click Add New Network Folder Profile.
    4. Follow the instructions to create your profile.
  4. Start the scan from your printer:
    1. Place the document or picture on the scanner glass.
    2. Press Scan.
    3. Select Scan to Network Folder., then press OK.
    4. Select the Network Folder profile.
    5. Press Start.
