Not all cameras have the Date Stamp feature.
If you don't find Date Stamp in the Main menu, Setup menu, Review menu, or in your Extended User Guide, then your camera does not have the Date Stamp feature.

IMPORTANT:

  • Some models let you add a date stamp only in Review mode, after you take pictures. (See below.)
  • Some models let you turn on the Date Stamp feature in Capture mode so that .
  • Check your Extended User Guide to see if your camera has the Date Stamp feature and which type it is.
  • Make sure the camera . Otherwise, the date stamp will imprint the wrong date.
  • You cannot  from a picture. 

Add a date stamp to a picture you've already taken:

  After you have taken pictures, press the Review button.

  Press the Right/Left buttons to find a picture that you want to stamp.

  Press the Menu button Image.

  If your camera doesn't have a Menu button, press the Review button Image, choose Edit Edit icon, then choose Date Stamp.

  If your camera has a touchscreen, the same principles apply.

  If your camera displays a menu with tabs at the top:
  1. Press the Right/Left buttons to highlight the Setup tab.
  2. Press the Down arrow button to highlight Date Stamp.
  3. Press the OK button to add the date stamp to this picture.

  1. Press the Down arrow button to highlight Date Stamp.
  2. Press the OK button to add the date stamp to this picture.
