System requirements are subject to change without notice. The software applications on the Picture CD are available for use under license from the software providers. Before using these applications, you must accept the License Agreement set forth by each provider. You can use other imaging software applications, Web browsers, and word processors that can read JPEG files. The picture files are stored in the Pictures folder on the CD. See application for system requirements.

NOTE: KODAK Picture CD is also compatible with specially marked DVD players. See DVD player instructions for details.

 

WINDOWS Operating System Requirements to run the KODAK Picture CD Using EASYSHARE Software v6.2

  • WINDOWS XP Operating System (Service Pack 2)

  • INTEL PENTIUM II 600 MHZ Processor 256 MB RAM and 200 MB of available hard disk space

  • CD-ROM XA multi-session drive High Color 16-bit display (32-bit recommended), 800x600 resolution

  • Internet access is required (INTERNET EXPLORER v5.0.1)

WINDOWS Operating System Requirements to run the KODAK Picture CD Using EASYSHARE Software v5.0

(Significant performance improvements will be observed with systems that exceed the minimum requirements)

  • WINDOWS 98, 98 Second Edition, Me, 2000, XP Home Edition, or XP Professional operating system

  • 233 MHz PENTIUM II processor 64 MB (128 MB RAM for 2000 or XP)

  • 200 MB available hard disk space

  • High Color 16-bit display (32-bit recommended), 800x600 resolution

  • CD-ROM XA multi-session drive

  • Internet access is required (INTERNET EXPLORER v5.0.1, APPLE QUICKTIME Player v6.3 or later to play videos

 MACINTOSH Operating System Requirements to run the KODAK Picture CD 2007 and later

KODAK Picture CD 2007 does not include a MACINTOSH version of EASYSHARE Software. To view pictures on computers running MACINTOSH operating systems and others, you must have an application installed on your computer that can read JPEG format files. You can still use EASYSHARE Software v6.0 that is compatible with MACINTOSH Systems and available as a .

MACINTOSH Operating System Requirements to run the KODAK Picture CD with EASYSHARE Software v6.0

  • Power MACINTOSH G3, G4, G5, G4 Cube, iMac, Powerbook G3 or G4; or iBook computer

  • MACINTOSH operation system X v10.3 or later

  • 200 MB available hard disk space (more hard disk space may be required depending on the size of your collection)

  • APPLE QUICKTIME Player v6.4 or later to play videos

  • Color monitor with resolution of 1024 x 768 pixels, thousands or millions of colors.
