The error message indicates that the paper tray is empty. To resolve this error:

NOTE: If you want to continue with functions that don't require printing, press Cancel on the control panel.

Make sure you are using paper that is recommended for your printer. See the User Guide for more information about compatible paper.
Load paper that is clean and flat with uniform edges, then press OK.
