For MAC OS X 10.6.x users:
- Select Go > Applications in the Finder window.
- Double-click the Image Capture icon to open the Image Capture Application.
- Highlight the EasyShare AiO option in the left-hand column.
- In the bottom-left portion of the window, select No Application in the drop-down menu, "Connecting this camera opens."
- Under the Image Capture menu, select Quit Image Capture.
NOTE: This setting will prevent iPhoto from launching when the printer is turned on or plugged in. This will not change the settings for digital cameras.
For MAC OS X 10.4 and 10.5 users:
- Select Go > Applications in the Finder window.
- Double-click the Image Capture icon to open the Image Capture Application.
- Under the Image Capture menu, select Preferences.
- In the camera section, select no application in the drop-down menu for "When a camera is connected, open."
- Click OK.
- Under the Image Capture Menu, select Quit Image Capture.
NOTE: This setting will prevent Image Capture from opening when your printer is turned on or plugged in and will prevent iPhoto from launching when your digital camera is connected.
