IMPORTANT:

  • For Home Center Software v4.2 to v5.4, follow the steps below to change the firewall settings to allow these services:
    • Bonjour Service (C:\Program Files\Bonjour\mDNSResponder.exe)
    • KODAK AiO Network Discovery Service
      (C:\Program Files\Kodak\AiO\Center\EKDiscovery.exe)
    • KODAK AiO Home Center
      (C:\Program Files\Kodak\AiO\Center\AiOHomeCenter.exe)
  • For Home Center Software v6.0 and later, you need to allow only these services (the steps and screen shots are likely different from what is described below):
    • KODAK AiO Network Discovery Service and Bonjour Service
      (C:\Program Files\Kodak\AiO\Center\EKAiOHostService.exe)
    • KODAK AiO Home Center
      (C:\Program Files\Kodak\AiO\Center\AiOHomeCenter.exe)

1. Start NORTON Internet Security.

2. Click Settings in the Internet pane.

3. Scroll to Smart Firewall.

4. Click Configure [+] in the Program Control line.

5. Click Add in the Program Control window.

6. Select Bonjour in the Select a program dialog box to add to the list.

7. Click Open.

8. Select Bonjour Service (C:\Program Files\Bonjour\mDNSResponder.exe).

9. Select Allow from the drop-down list.

10. Click OK.

11. Click Add in the Program Control window.

12. Select Kodak. Click Open.

13. Browse to C:\Program Files\Kodak\AiO\Center, then select EKDiscovery Module for Kodak AiO Printers (ekdiscovery.exe).

14. Select Allow from the drop-down list.

15. Click OK.

16. Repeat steps 11 through 15 to add AiOHomeCenter.exe.  

17. Click OK to close the Settings window.
