When this error occurs, the printer may eject the paper without printing (blank print).

To resolve the error:

  1. Press the Power button to turn off the printer.
  2. Wait for all the lights to go off.
  3. Remove the paper from the tray, then align and load the paper into the tray.
  4. Press the Power button to turn on the printer.
  5. Try printing again.

If the error continues, reduce the DPI of the print

If the error continues:

  1. Turn off Advanced Dot Placement Mode:
    NOTE: You cannot print borderless photos when Advanced Dot Placement Mode is selected.
    • For WINDOW OS:

      1. Select Start > (Settings) > Printers and Faxes (WINDOWS XP OS) or
        Start > Devices and Printers (WINDOWS VISTA or WINDOWS 7 OS).
      2. Right-click the KODAK Printer, then select Printing Preferences.
      3. Select the Advanced tab.
      4. Under "Photo printing", clear the Advanced dot placement mode check box.
      5. Click OK.
         
    • For MAC OS:
    1. Open the document you want to print.
    2. Select File > Print.
    3. Select Show Details.
    4. Select Printer Options.
    5. Clear the Advanced dot placement mode check box.
  2. Try printing again.

If the error continues, try printing from a source other than Home Center Software.
