When this error occurs, the printer may eject the paper without printing (blank print).
To resolve the error:
- Press the Power button to turn off the printer.
- Wait for all the lights to go off.
- Remove the paper from the tray, then align and load the paper into the tray.
- Press the Power button to turn on the printer.
- Try printing again.
If the error continues, reduce the DPI of the print
If the error continues:
- Turn off Advanced Dot Placement Mode:
NOTE: You cannot print borderless photos when Advanced Dot Placement Mode is selected.- For WINDOW OS:
- Select Start > (Settings) > Printers and Faxes (WINDOWS XP OS) or
Start > Devices and Printers (WINDOWS VISTA or WINDOWS 7 OS). - Right-click the KODAK Printer, then select Printing Preferences.
- Select the Advanced tab.
- Under "Photo printing", clear the Advanced dot placement mode check box.
- Click OK.
- Select Start > (Settings) > Printers and Faxes (WINDOWS XP OS) or
- For MAC OS:
- Open the document you want to print.
- Select File > Print.
- Select Show Details.
- Select Printer Options.
- Clear the Advanced dot placement mode check box.
- Try printing again.
If the error continues, try printing from a source other than Home Center Software.
