Error codes 101-2 through 101-3010 indicate that an operating system file is preventing successful installation of all-in-one printer software. For assistance:
- Go to the Microsoft Web site.
- Select Support > Knowledge Base.
- Type the error code into the search window, then click the magnifying glass icon.
- Follow the instructions in the most appropriate answer, then reinstall the software.
For error 101-3011 and greater, follow the instructions provided in the message on the printer LCD or printer status monitor. If the error persists:
- Uninstall any All-in-One Printer Software installed on your computer:
select Start > Settings > Control Panel > Add Remove Programs > ADVENT All-in-One Printer Software. - Restart your computer, then log in as an administrator.
- Close any programs that may be open, including those that appear on your computer taskbar.
- Verify that your computer is connected to the Internet.
NOTE: If your connection to the Internet is wireless, verify that the signal strength is sufficient.
