Error codes 101-2 through 101-3010 indicate that an operating system file is preventing successful installation of all-in-one printer software. For assistance:

  1. Go to the Microsoft Web site.
  2. Select Support > Knowledge Base.
  3. Type the error code into the search window, then click the magnifying glass icon.
  4. Follow the instructions in the most appropriate answer, then reinstall the software.

For error 101-3011 and greater, follow the instructions provided in the message on the printer LCD or printer status monitor. If the error persists:

  1. Uninstall any All-in-One Printer Software installed on your computer:
    select Start > Settings > Control Panel > Add Remove Programs > ADVENT All-in-One Printer Software.
  2. Restart your computer, then log in as an administrator.
  3. Close any programs that may be open, including those that appear on your computer taskbar.
