The APPLE AIRPORT EXTREME Base Station, TIME CAPSULE, and AIRPORT EXPRESS Base Station must meet the 802.11n wireless standard and have firmware version 7.4.1 or later installed.

    • You will be prompted to connect using a USB cable.
  4. Click Continue.

  6. Restart your computer.

After you have installed the all-in-one printer software:

  1. Navigate to System Preferences (under the apple or from the dock).
  2. Navigate to Print & Fax.

NOTE: You will be able to print to your all-in-one printer when connected using a USB cable connected to the APPLE base station. Home Center Software is not supported when the printer is connected using USB to the APPLE EXTREME, TIME CAPSULE, or EXPRESS Base Station. Other functions, such as scanning will not be available. You may perceive a loss in speed when printing since the print job is using the AIRPORT EXTREME, TIME CAPSULE, or EXPRESS Base Station to send the print job. If you are using a wireless-enabled printer, connect your printer to your wireless network using the wireless feature. Do not connect a wireless printer using a USB cable connected to the AIRPORT device.
