- If any orange shipping tape is on the back of your printer, remove the tape.
- Remove the cover to the rear cleanout area by pressing from left to right on the cover removal tab (on the far left when facing the back of the printer).
- Check for and remove any paper that is jammed inside.
- Install the cover to the rear cleanout area by inserting the right side first and then clicking the left side into place. When you click the cover into place, you are making sure the paper will feed straight.
- When loading paper:
- Fan and stack the paper.
- With the left paper-edge guide to the far left, move the guide until it touches the paper.
