This error message indicates that you stopped the print job, or that the carriage cannot move freely. To resolve this error condition:
- Turn off the printer.
- Remove any paper jam.
- Verify that your paper is loaded correctly. See the User's Guide for your printer for more information.
- Verify that the paper path is not blocked.
- Verify that your paper is clean, flat, and has uniform edges.
- Verify that you can move the carriage backward and forward freely.
- Turn on the printer.
