You can retrieve pictures from your hard drive if you selected Remove from Collection. If you selected Delete, your pictures were most likely moved to the Recycle Bin. If you have not yet emptied the Recycle Bin, you can restore your images by double-clicking the Recycle Bin, selecting the images you want to retrieve, and then clicking Restore.
