The most important requirements for viewing digital pictures on your television are:- A camera that can show pictures on a television. To determine if your camera does this, refer to your camera User's Guide.
- A camera that is set to the correct video mode for your country, either NTSC (used in North America and Japan) or PAL (used for the rest of the world).
- A television that is set up to receive video from a line-in source, either video, source, line in, aux, line or input.
To view pictures on your television:- Obtain an audio/video (A/V) cable (may be included with your camera). To purchase one, visit a local or online retailer.
- Set your television to the applicable source (see your television user's guide).
- Make sure that the Video Out setting on your camera is correct. (See your camera Extended User Guide online.)
- Using your camera Review feature, verify that the pictures you want to view on your television are in your camera.
- Connect one end of the A/V cable to your camera and the other end to your television.
- Run a slide show on your camera. The camera screen turns off, and the television screen acts as the camera display.
NOTE: The picture quality on your television may not be as clear as displayed on your computer monitor or when printed.
