IMPORTANT: This answer provides requirements (not instructions) for setting up a wireless network and then connecting a KODAK All-in-One Printer to that network. To set up a wireless network and connect your printer to that network, follow the instructions in the Wireless Networking Guide or in the Extended User Guide for your printer---or see .
To set up a wireless network, you need:
- A wireless all-in-one printer
- A wireless access point that supports the multicast protocol
NOTE: A router or a mobile device can serve as the access point, see .
For Wi-Fi Protected Setup (WPS) routers, you must know the location of the WPS button on the router and how to obtain the PIN.
For non-WPS routers, you must know your network name (SSID) and security string (passphrase). The security string is a passphrase or password associated with your network. If you do not know your security string, look at the bottom of your router or check with your router manufacturer. Non-secure networks do not have a security string.
