To print envelopes using OpenOffice Software:
- Start OpenOffice.org Writer.
- Choose Insert > Envelope.
- Select the Envelope tab.
- Type the addressee and return sender information in the appropriate fields.
- Select the Format tab.
- Under Size, select Envelope 10 (or another preferred envelope size).
- Click New Doc. A print preview of the envelope will appear.
- Print the envelopes. Feed each envelope manually into your printer.
If you have problems, check your printer setup to verify that your printer is expecting the same size envelope you created.
To create a sheet of labels for one address:
- Choose File > New > Labels.
- Select the Labels tab.
- Type or paste an address in the Label Text area.
- In the Brand drop-down list, select Avery Letter Size (or if appropriate select Avery A4).
- In the Type drop-down list, select 8160 Inkjet Address.
- Select the Options tab.
- Select Synchronize Contents.
- Click New Document. The labels will appear, with a floating Synchronize Labels button.
- Check your printing preferences to check that the paper size and the label sheet size match.
- Print the labels.
