Smart Capture mode is perfect for general picture taking. It offers excellent image quality and is easy to use.
  • Faces are detected and given focus priority.
  • Scenes are analyzed for other content and for lighting.
  • KODAK PERFECT TOUCH Technology is applied for better, brighter pictures.
To select Smart Capture mode:
  • If you have a Mode dial, turn it to Smart Capture (usually a camera icon, of a unique color).
  • If you have a Mode button, press it and choose Smart Capture mode.
  • If your camera has a touchscreen, the same principles apply. Tap the Mode icon, then Smart Capture.
Additional Information:
  • To take pictures in quicker succession (or if you want more creative control over your camera), experiment with other modes, including Program mode and SCN (Scene) modes. Modes vary by camera model.
  • You can choose the best picture size and aspect ratio for your needs in all picture-taking modes—just press the Menu button and choose Picture Size.
