How do I clean the printhead on my 5300 or 5500 all-in-one printer?

To clean the printhead from the control panel on the printer:- Press the Menu button to display the Main Menu.
- Press the down arrow until Clean Printhead is displayed, then press OK.
- For a basic clean, make sure Basic Clean is selected, then press OK.
- For a deep clean, press the down arrow until Deep Clean is selected, then press OK.
To clean the printhead from the KODAK All-in-One Home Center Software on your computer (with software version 5.4 or later):- Open the Home Center Software.
- From the Printer Tools, Help toolbar, select Maintenance.
- Click Printhead Cleaning, and wait for the printer to complete the cleaning.
