Make sure that your printer is powered on, and that you set up your printer by following the setup instructions included with your printer.


NOTE: If you misplaced your Start Here instructions:

  1. Go to KODAK Product Manuals.
  2. Click the PDF file for the appropriate document for your printer (Setup Guide or Setup Booklet).

If the Home Center Software continues to show that your printer is disconnected:

  1. Disconnect the USB cable from your printer.
  2. Open Home Center Software.
  3. Click Choose Kodak Printer.
  4. Select your KODAK All-in-One Printer, then follow the prompts to install the printer.
  5. Open Home Center Software, and look in the lower-left corner to verify that your printer is connected.
  6. If your printer is not connected:
    1. Disconnect the USB cable from your printer.
    2. Reconnect the USB cable to your printer.
    3. Check Home Center Software again to verify that your printer is connected.

If the problem continues there may be firewall program on your computer that is blocking the connection.  Adust the firewall settings to allow the following Kodak services:

  • WINDOWS Spooler Service: (C:\Windows\System32\spoolsv.exe)
  • KODAK AiO Network Discovery Service and Bonjour Service (C:\Program Files\Kodak\AiO\Center\EKAiOHostService.exe)
  • KODAK AiO Home Center (C:\Program Files\Kodak\AiO\Center\AiOHomeCenter.exe)
