This problem can result from:

  • Problem with the memory card in the camera
  • Low battery power

To resolve:

  1. Remove the memory card.
  2. Verify that the battery is fully charged.
  3. Transfer pictures directly from the camera.

If pictures don't transfer:

  1. Take two pictures.
  2. Connect the camera to a USB port on your computer, then try to transfer the pictures.
    NOTE: If you can transfer pictures directly from your camera, your memory card may be defective. Replace the memory card, then try the transfer again.
  3. If you cannot transfer pictures directly from your camera, verify that your camera battery is fully charged. See your User's Guide for more information.
  4. After the battery is fully charged, connect the camera to a USB port on your computer, then try to transfer the pictures.

If the problem continues, use a memory card reader to transfer pictures:

  1. Seat the memory card in your card reader.
  2. In EASYSHARE Software, use the Add Pictures feature to transfer pictures.
